Skill level beginner
Now you see it… now you don’t! The Estes Illusion moves quick off the pad. Watch as this bold beauty soars to 1000 feet and beyond! Designed to fly on a range of Estes A through C engines, the Illusion isn’t just built to fly fast… it LOOKS fast! Those stylish swept back fins, that long and elegant bright red body, that distinctive jet-fighter style nosecone… the stunning Estes Illusion looks like it’s always moving – even when it’s standing still!
As a Beginner-Level rocket kit, the Estes Illusion is carefully engineered to get you on the pad and in the air quickly. Featuring a no-glue, snap-together construction design, even the first-time rocketeer will have no problem assembling this model rocket in record time. No painting or sanding is required for this kit. The molded plastic components are ready for use straight from the box. Further, all parts are pre-colored in a vivid red, black and grey color scheme. From the tip of the sleek nosecone to the bottom of the trailing stabilizer fin, all the painting is done for you. Finish your Estes Illusion by applying the included custom graphics, self-stick decals and you’re ready to fly!
Launch prep for the Estes Illusion couldn’t be easier. Simply insert a recommended Estes engine into the plastic threaded engine mount, then pack the recovery wadding and parachute. Now this amazing rocket is ready to take to the skies. Five… four… three… two… one… ignition… and it’s gone! Track the trail and watch for the ejection at apogee – the peak of flight. The colorful 12 inch parachute will deploy and then slowly lower the rocket back to Earth, ready to reload and take on another adventurous flight. No tricks here – the Illusion is the model rocket for you!
